The ten rules

The participation in our challenges is governed by a set of specific rules to ensure fairness and clarity. All applicants must adhere to these guidelines to be considered for the contest.

Eligibility: Applicants must be freshly graduated in the academic year 2024-2025

Recent Projects: Only projects finalized in the current academic year are eligible; previous years' projects cannot be submitted.

Eligible Fields: Submitted projects must fall within the eligible fields for this year challenge. Applicants can select from the options provided in the online sign-up form.

Single Submission: Each application, team or individual application, can submit a maximum of one project. Exception to the eligible teams for the Girls-in-Engineering Challenge

Team Size: In case of team-project submission, the teams can have up to four members.

Innovation: Projects must be innovative, creative, and engaging.

Scientific Accuracy: Project details must be submitted in a scientifically accurate manner.

Clear Objectives: The final objective of the project must be clearly explained, as required in the application form.

Language: The official language of the challenge is English.

Contacting any of the jury members is absolutely forbidden. In such case, the corresponding submission will be excluded from the Challenge.

Criteria

The selection criterion

Various aspects are considered to evaluate the submitted projects, i.e. the innovation, the originality, the presentation quality and the impact of the outcome whether locally or, if applicable, internationally.

Applicants who are clearly highlighting the following aspects of their project in the submission, have high chance of winning.
